Bayanihan

This is a piece of gratitude to the people who held me, who saw me, who walked with me throughout the last four years. Words are not enough to express how grateful I am to be surrounded by a community who dreamed of a world otherwise – a world nurtured by hope, by an economy of care and reciprocity, and by an urge towards justice and equity.

In a system that continuously demands our productivity yet denies us of your own story, the only reason that keeps me fighting is our shared hope that we can create our own spaces. The system will resist, but what it doesn’t know is that it is surrounded by unyielding peripheries.

This is Bayanihan.
